Demanding Financial Transparency
for a Stronger
St. Louis

Our Mission

To advocate for transparency and accountability in St. Louis City finances by uniting residents and concerned citizens to demand a comprehensive audit, ensuring that taxpayer dollars are managed responsibly for the benefit of our community.

We believe St. Louis leaders are not being transparent about how they are using our tax dollars, including $500 million in ARPA funds and $280 million from the NFL Rams settlement.

Petition Requesting Aduit to the Honorable Scott Fitzpatrick State Auditor of Missouri:

Based on information provided by the State Auditor’s Office, the cost of an audit for political subdivisions of a similar size and function has ranged from $2.3 to $2.7 million. We understand that the political subdivision named above shall pay the actual cost of the audit even if the cost exceeds the estimate as stated. We also understand that this form, when filled with the State Auditor, becomes a PUBLIC RECORD which will be open for public inspection. Section 29.230.4, RSMo, allows a person to withdraw their signature within ten days after the petition is received by the State Auditor.

NOTE: The State Auditor will conduct a performance audit and will determine the scope of the audit. The audit will cover the current period and most recently completed fiscal year at the time the petition signatures are verified and the audit is scheduled. The scope of the audit may be revised as determined by the State Auditor.
